چکیده
Heavy metal contamination of the ecosystem remains one severe global threats. Even in trace quantities, heavy metals and metalloids such as chromium, lead, mercury, cadmium, nickel, cobalt are toxic carcinogenic, posing a serious threat to human life. Certain microbes plants have evolved detoxifying pathways fight harmful effects these inorganic metals, paving door for bioremediation. Because its environmentally benign nature, economic viability, low labor effort requirements, bioremediation outperforms other approaches eliminating metals. This review highlights potential on remediation context environmental protection also focuses critical tolerance mechanisms used by combating contaminations. Furthermore, bacteria, fungus, algae, plants, biosurfactants, biofilms genetically altered microorganisms removal was reviewed this study. Applying techniques sustainable technology near future has shown synergistic benefits with many-fold increase

Evaluating of Heavy Metal Contaminations in the Most Applicable Food Spices and Flavors in Hamedan, Iran
Background & Aims of the Study: Iranian food diet contains nutrients and herbal spices. From the most important challenges in relation to these spices is their pollution with various heavy metals. Thus, this study aims to characterize the amounts of heavy metals in collected spices from Hamedan city of Iran during 2015-2016. Materials & Methods: 180 samples of commerciall...
متن کاملBasic concepts on heavy metal soil bioremediation
The utilization of organisms, primarily microbes, to clean up contaminated soils, aquifers, sludges, residues, and air, known as “bioremediation”, is a rapidly changing and expanding area of environmental biotechnology, that offers a potentially more effective and economical clean-up technique than conventional physicochemical methods. Although it is certain that up to now the technologies empl...
متن کاملBioremediation Of Heavy Metal Toxicity-With Special Reference To Chromium
All metals are toxic and our bodies require special transport and handling mechanisms to keep them from harming us. The toxicity occurs in humans due to environmental pollution via soil or water contamination or due to occupational exposure. Some of these metals are useful to us in low concentrations but are highly toxic in higher concentrations. These metal toxicity cause serious morbidity and...
متن کاملEffective Factors and Molecular Mechanisms of Heavy Metal Bioremediation Using Cyanobacteria
The sustainability and non-biodegradability of heavy metals, on the one hand, and the increasing environmental pollution caused by industrial wastewater on the other hand have increased the attention to heavy metal remediation. Cyanobacteria are one of the most important agents of heavy metals removal in drought and aquatic environments. Their ability to remove metals is related to various mech...
متن کاملStudies of Radioactive Contaminations and Heavy Metal Contents in Vegetables and Fruit from Lublin, Poland
This paper presents studies of the level of some gamma radioactive elements and heavy metals in fruits, vegetables and plants from Lublin. Potassium K isotope was the most prevalent element in the examined samples. It concentrated mainly in aboveground parts of some vegetables, for example in parsley and carrots haulm and in leaves of red beet and leek (from 1135 to 1940 Bq/kg). Considerably lo...
